For the redemption of the city of Seattle and the hideous pussified suspension of my main man/fav player Zach Randolph, I want the OKC Thunder to see a Tim McVeigh fate in these playoffs.

The NBA sooooo badly wants OKC to advance because they're the "sexier" team, and I couldn't be more contrary to that. THAT and OKC owner Clay Bennett is in class-A cronyism with David Stern and now Adam Silver. And that is how the Sonics were stripped out of Seattle.

I hate these fuckers so much, and want them to go down so hard and swift in the 1st round. Memphis has become my favorite contemporary team for a bunch of years now. The epitome of small-market hard-working underdogs.

Grizzlies were cooler when they were in Vancouver. i'm paying attention to basketball for the first time because Toronto is in the playoffs.

maybe the Raptors will beat Brooklyn tomorrow but I think if they do there's no way they're getting past Miami in the next round

I don't agree, their success is way better in Memphis. They've won over 45 games in 6 different seasons in Memphis and their best season in Vancouver is 23-59. I don't what's "cool" about 23-59 but certainly the city of Vancouver is cooler than Memphis (imo).

Are you Canadian? I'm from NY/LI and I'm pulling for Toronto as well. Brooklyn pisses me off on many levels. From their new poser hipster fanbase to overcharging fans, as well as tanking their last 5 games like pussies I hope they go down.

yes I'm Canadian and the only reason I think the Grizzlies were better in Vancouver is due to petty nationalism. I suppose there's a reason they had to move to Memphis but I'm surprised Vancouver couldn't support an NBA team. I'm still more angry about the Nordiques moving to Colorado, but at least Winnipeg came back.

I know, it's killing me. Adam Silver couldn't wait for an excuse to give OKC an edge to placate David Stern as per Clay Bennett.

Conley's hanging in there, he's tough fuck. He some nice graceful drives already.

I'm surprised too, it's a really cool city from what I hear. Hollywood loves to shoot TV/fikm there. 21 JUMPSTREET was the first show shot in Vancouver I believe.

Oh REALLY, is it expensive, I didn't realize. Ironically Hollywood looks to SAVE $ by shooting shit there.

Agghhhh, Zach is a thug and a wide-body!

I used to hate the Heat but now I know someone on the team, so I have to root for them!

He's the most the skilled low post player and offensive rebounder in last 10 years in the NBA, and he can't even jump.

When he was at Michigan State he was a real loser. He left college ball too early and suffered for it. He can't rotate his trunk at all. The fact that he is still an NBA player floors me.

Evidently according to anyone that knows him as well as the city of Memphis has really turned himself around for the good. 20-10 every year and does THIS level of charity work, doesn't sound like a "loser" in my definition. And there's also NOTHING "suffering" about the basketball he's been playing the last 10 seasons that college is remedying.

No, I agree he has matured some, but he has had a lot of people working on him to change his image.

I'll give you that, it's true, he has the best help. But at least he had the gumption to USE the help unlike so many others that don't.
