Just answer this question dildoink!
Guess some llamas think they're gonna fuck back even harder, eh?
neva gonna happen
It is hard to believe that nobody is putting his feet in this fire,Whatty!
Howard didn't get re-signed until mid December of 09, why?
Because the Sirius offer was so low that Howard's ego wouldn't go for it until his agent came up with this ridiculous money grab.
This lawsuit was an after thought because we all know that greedy lying bastard would never leave $300 million on the table for anyone.
I've wondered about this as well and the only good answer that I can come up with is that he couldn't walk away from the money. Even at the reduced pay rate, he is still making hundreds of millions over the life of his contract. I never realized just how greedy Howard is until he filed that lawsuit. I think with the bonuses he got around $150 million in stocks and another $25 million cash and that still wasn't enough. He had to sue and go for an additional $300 million that he was not entitled to.
Because even though he was taking a HUGE paycut, to the likes of which he'll never admit--no one was gonna pay him close to that. Any offer he did have on the table was probably WAY less money UP FRONT than he is getting now, and I'm sure he has no incentive package at this point. The other offers probably would only pay the big money through incentives, which would mean Howard would have to work hard. You see, the smart businessmen at Sirius realized Howard was way past his prime, and strong armed a big salary cut. They realized it way before most of us did, Howard being Howard bowed to the almighty dollar and figured maybe he could get more if he sued.
He had no other options. Terrestrial was not desperate enough to give him another chance.
Remember the bullshit with Sim cards or teaching at BU?
You guys know the difference between "resigned" and "re-signed," right?
Because Howard sure doesn't!
Exactly, Howard is on a marble quest and he couldn't resist even the cut-rate deal that Sirius dangled in front of him. Take what they are willing to give and try to pry out as much as possible to make up the difference.
If Howard were completely sincere when saying he knew he would win the lawsuit,,,he should have not re-sign a long term deal and sue their asses while going back to terrestrial radio. That is what an honest person would do. Don't get me started on his Jay Leno rants about being loyal to a company that ffffucks you.....oh yeah,,,Howard now works for that company.
He just couldn't turn down the insane amount of money that they were throwing at him. When I think about it, I still can't believe anyone paid Howard that much fucking money to do a radio show (even when it was good). Yes, I agree, anyone who was NOT GREEDY and had some INTEGRITY would tell Sirius to go fuck themselves if they thought they were not honoring the previous contract. But this is Howard we are talking about...
Looks like the perfect picture for a beth cartwheel photoshop!
Howard said he took a huge risk by joining Satellite radio. How in the fffuck is that>?
Because is all about the money like Jessie J says.
This new contract has him doing less shows, with less hours, and with one less person he end up with more cash for himself. His working environment is perfectly fine.
Different route to work everyday...hey that's a huge risk...regardless of the $500 million salary....
