One of the things I enjoy during Christmas are the glasses that come with a bottle of booze. Stuff like this:

It's not even like a full set of glasses. Just two. But for whatever reason I love getting the Christmas package of booze.

Another thing that's cool is it seems like the only time of year you can get monogrammed handkerchiefs.

Then there are the variety packs of colognes and shaving stuff. No idea why I get such a kick out of that shit.

What's yours? Do you go out and actually cut a tree down? Do you enjoy decorating the house obnoxiously?

Christmas movies are fun to watch this time of year. Home Alone is a classic.

Love eggnog this time of year, especially with alcohol in it! Funny that we can't get eggnog at the supermarket 12 months a year - I'm sure there's a market for it.

Looking forward to going to my father-in-law's place Christmas Eve. I get to be an honorary Italian for the night, eat lots of good Italian cooking and pastries and drink alot of wine. My wife's uncle and cousins are cool as shit so it's always a good time.

 That sounds like a good time.

I almost mentioned this as well. The smell of a Christmas tree is second to nothing.

    dude, the bottle is empty.
I like the Evan Williams Egg Nog, good stuff. Buying a bottle of bourbon or scotch I usually wouldn't buy, and giving and getting cigars.

One of the few things I miss about my ex, her big Italian family, the holiday get together meals were fantastic. Great food, lots of drinking, good times.

My brother and I took my parents for a drive to the best decorated houses in the area. Something we do every year.

Some people put a ton of work into it! I'm not a huge fan of the choreographed light shows, I prefer the more traditional decorations. One guy has an animatronic Nativity scene that's stunning. Several people were using green and red lasers to create dot patterns on bushes, trees and houses. It made it look like the entire house was wired with lights. One guy was projecting Christmas movies on the side of his house and you could tune your radio to hear the sound...not exactly traditional but a lot of families were gathered around watching. His neighbors probably hate him.
