"the wedding cake"
I can't stop watching this
Not funny or real looking.....what is the point of that video?
I think some of those rides would be fatal.
When my brother was a kid he became fascinated with natzi's. He was about 8. Anyway, he drew this whole overview of a hitter themed amusement park, and one ride was entitled, "The Swas-a-whirl," which was essentially a giant swastika with a seat tethered to the end of each spoke.
He sounds a nice young lad.
Kid's a fucking genius. Say hello to him for me. He doesn't know me yet, but he will. Because I'm going to take his ideas and with my brains and my connections I"m going to make us all rich.
Seriously though, kid's a genius.
Sorry, some other psychopath already thought of this.
Gotta agree. Other than as a demonstration of computer graphics, after the first one they were just...pointless.
Did he learn to spell nazi correctly?
Wasn't that a song by Earth Wind and Fire?
Sometimes fantasy makes it into reality
In the mid-1980s Action Park built an enclosed water slide, not unusual for that time,
and indeed the park already had several. But for this one they decided to build, at the end, a complete vertical loop of the kind more commonly associated with roller coasters. Employees have reported
they were offered hundred-dollar bills to test it. Tom Fergus, who described himself as "one of the idiots" who took the offer, said "$100 did not buy enough booze to drown
out that memory."
It was opened for one month in summer 1985 before it was closed at the order of the state's Advisory Board on Carnival Amusement Ride Safety, a highly unusual move at the time. One worker told a local newspaper that "there were too many bloody noses and back injuries" from riders, and it was widely rumored, and reported in Weird NJ, that some of the test dummies sent down before it opened had been dismembered. A rider also reportedly got stuck at the top of the loop due to insufficient water pressure, and a hatch had to be built at the bottom of the slope to allow for future extractions.
Wrong, that was both funny and cool. Great vid
Of course they would! Concussions from G forces alone.
What the fuck did I just watch?
I used to go to that place. It was a blood bath. You couldn't keep us away for some reason. That whole park needs another thread.
I saw this on the Anthony Cumia show the other day. I find this video freaky! When I was a kid I used to have nightmares all the time about being stuck on & around freaky fair ground rides like this... This is what my nightmares looked like
