He told him to get out of the studio. lol
He hates benjy because benjy does not kiss his ass or other staff royalty.
its all jealousy and hatred...all of the staff believe Benjy adds nothing to the show yet Howard has him as a head writer...they also hate the fact that Benjy doesn't kiss ass...
There is definitely a spark that flies instantly when Benji brings up that Elisa has been working/contributing to the show. Whether they are bits, jokes, schtick, etc., as soon as its brought up they go nuts. Howard avoided it twice today. The second time Gary freaked out when Benji brought up Elisa working for the show. Obviously that is one of the many topics that can't be discussed on the air.
They are so concerned about having this Wizard Of Oz curtain that shields any of the behind the scenes workings of the show. There were 2 chances today to get into a serious discussion and Howard blew it off to read a live "Go To Meeting" commercial. Better yet, Gary told Benji not to go to the Wrap Up show. It's beyond pathetic at this point how zero honesty exists in the show.
The best part is that Gary yells "Get out of the studio NOW!" and Benji just sits there not moving.
Why does anyone still listen? You have to know this is time you just CANNOT get back, am I right Robin?
They're most likely embarrassed and don't want the audience to know how little they care about writing talent on the show. You'd think with a show that "has more listeners than 'Today' and 'Good Morning America' combined" would be hiring comedians, or people with a background in comedic writing, but instead they have Benjy's girlfriend, Lisa Fucking G and Shuli, the biggest hack on the planet contributing ideas. It's just another example of how tightfisted Howard is with his "budget." He could easily part with a couple hundred thousand and hire some decent writers, but why put forth the effort and money when you can just double-dip the staff that's already there?
It's background. Still the best thing on, imho. There's some need here to point at that you don't listen to the show and that you're somehow less if you do... kind of like the Chris Rock's bit about enwurds that love to not know. Several of you are a little too proud of yourselves for not listening while still haunting a board dedicated to (making fun of) the show.
i don't give a fuck if someone listens or not. I don't understand why anyone would.
could not listen today, too fckn pathetic.
So that you don't have to. How about showing a little gratitude
It's really not. Listening to pigs fucking makes for better background than present day THHS.
What else is there? I listen to a few podcasts, but none of them are all that compelling either.
And we appreciate your service.
Exactly. Benjy has zero respect for booey
I found it to be suitable background for clearing snow.
What exactly do the "writers" contribute to the Stern show these days?
I like to listen to goof on him...one of the little pleasures...goofing on the king of all homohypocrites....
So right. I feel pathetic but it was such a part of my morning routine and dislusionally I want to be there when the car with these people I think I know crashes.
I vow that I will not watch online any of the birthday bash broadcast. I certainly won't listen live nor on demand on the phone app. You know its gonna be "we crashed the servers" It is a brilliant negoitation contract by the KOAM
"Robin, what's the name of the show I love to watch....Bansheee, Justified, Broad City?"
Better yet. What I loved was when Benji started talking about Elisa and Gary left his office to run into the studio. You can clearly hear it in the replay. Benji brings up that Elisa has worked for the show and Gary comes in and shouts, "Shut the fuck up!" Gary is so scared that people may hear that Elisa works for them. This topic is off limits and Gary is freaking out and ready to kick Benji out of the studio. Gary has taken the Crown of Howard Defender and will no longer let anything EVER negative be said about his boss. He sees the writing on the walls for the next 2 years.
