Cliff Burton has been rolling in his grave for the last ten years.
Is there a Straight version of "One"?
It's a gay song to begin with.
That was the song that began the great downfall.
These guys are kind of alright, but this is still a gay version.
And Justice For All was Metallica's last great album.
I think the video was the real downfall.
MTV kills bands with balls.
I liked Death Magnetic despite it seeming like a bunch of riffs hectically thrown together.
that's what i'm sayin'
Sucks getting old. No?
Remember the times when we said we'd never be like our fathers?
My father died without arms and legs, asshole.
It was good, not great. I do understand what people mean when they say it was produced like shit, they say it is over compressed. Sounds like shit loud, even through a quality system.
Sorry bro. Check out the food thread. You'll feel a whole lot better.
here's something else
the only way they could have made it gayer is by blowing each other at the end of the song.
I still liked them back then. The Death Magnetic and especially St Anger is when I left. I also for the record did not at all like the was they treated and left things with Jason. When he left Jason was more Metallica than the three others.
Dunno. I like this.
I saw them back in 80 for the first time in a bar in CT somewhere, Kill had not even been released (they were selling copies at the show), anyhow there were like 50 or so people at this bar, and the funny thing was that we were actually there to see a band called Raven. Any Raven fans out there? The Metallica guys were selling their own swag at a table set up in the back of the bar. They were cool.
