He was the last remaining member of the first crew to boldly go where no man has gone before to be honoured.

And Star Trek legend Walter Koenig was clearly delighted to be given a spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today.

The 75-year--old, who played Russian Ensign Pavel Chekov, could not hide his joy as he posed with fellow series originals and his family at the unveiling ceremony.

And three of his crew mates turned out to appear with their old friend, with Leonard Nimoy, Nichelle Nichols and George Takai serving as his Starfleet guard of honour.

Where's William? Shatner did not make an appearance.

Old rivals: While George resented Walter initially they have became firm friends over the years.

He hasn't aged well. Maybe because the poor guy lost his son tragically . . .

    Never let a Russian drive.

No wonder they always found themselves in trouble.

George Takei is a good friend.
Seeing how old they look in that picture, makes me sad. It means I'm getting old too. :bigcry:

Yes, especially at his age, all that digging must have played hell with his back.

The baldness might have something to do with it also. Look at Nimoy, he's got the hair of a teenager.

Probably busy filming another commercial for those ambulance chasing attorneys. "Dong!" Apparently he thinks he's going to live forever.

Howard should take a lesson from Nimoy - that's how you dress casual without looking like a jackass.
