(Well it's not exactly at work, it's for the professional association)

Okay, I've signed up for a charity drive - I've got to buy two gifts - one for a boy, one for a girl, both are 9 years old. I suppose I should spend about $30/each.

I have NO IDEA what to get for kids! Help, any ideas? :nooo:

Stern show related b/c they're too old for the Yoda book.

Gift cards are the way to go. Toys R Us. If I were a kid $30 would be killer. You have a good heart, my dear. :cheer2:

You can never go wrong with an iTunes card. These little buggers have their devices glued to their grubby fingers by that age.

After reading the OP's post, I couldn't help but think about what a selfish prick I can be sometimes. I really hate how Xmas nowadays seems to only be about rampant consumerism and commercialization run amok. But, I guess it's worth it if you can put a smile on some disadvantaged kid's face. Big Up to AmishGirl! She's inspired me to get involved with something like that this year.
