I'd prefer not.
How-chi-min pulled a Catherine Bates (Misery) by knee-capping the two of them the last time they were together on the show. Apparently, being unpredictable and funny is what the HSS is not about.
Better to let the golden years remain where they are: in the past
Howard mustve really fucked them both over bad.
Chicken boned neck, cock suckin jew!
I think that was a no.
Howie is not about to do anything uncomfortable or spontaneous now that ratings aren't a concern.
Fibber McGee and Molly
I love Gilbert. Where did that footage come from?
More laughs in forty seconds than years on the Stern Show.
That's footage from his podcast.
I thought Artie would suck on the Gilbert podcast, but he was GREAT! I'm no Artie apologist, but he and Gilbert were fucking awesome together. He knows more about movies than I thought. Everybody needs to listen to that asap.
As soon as Gilbert started in making fun of Artie's movies within the first minute of the show, Artie lost it, and I must say, that was great fun to listen to. Two old comedians and good friends getting back to busting on each other.
These two need to do a show together. I don't think either solo are really that funny, but together they are great. Lets start a petition. It just needs to happen.
I would love to see one of Howard's trademark This Is Your Life interviews with these guys, where he keeps his eyes glued to his list of questions and never really pays attention to the answers.
"Artie, it says in my notes that you once worked for a boss who exploited your drug addiction for years for the sake of entertainment, then completely cut you out of his life at your darkest hour, when you needed his love the most. That's gotta really mess you up inside, man. Talk about that. Did you ever want to say to this guy, 'Asshole! You're supposed to be my bro here!"
"Gilbert, it says here that after decades of working with a guy who instigated you into saying whatever provocative, outrageous, offensive things you could think of, he completely cut you from his show when you did exactly what he expected you to do, because it conflicted with guy's new middle-of-the-road, pandering sensibilities. Talk about that. Do you want to say to this guy, 'Asshole! I believed in you when you were a nobody, I did your show for free for all these years while you made hundreds of millions of dollars off the reputation I helped you build ... I mean I would go crazy. Did he ever give you a dime?"
How long would that last?
"Gil, *cough cough* this is Art, *cough, cough* I can't make it in today, *cough, cough* I feel like shit, sorry, *cough, cough*"
Will Gilbert and Artie ever be back on stern? Well that would be funny! So obviously the answer is , "not a chance in hell! ".
It would be great if Stern invited them on and they said no. That would blow the wig right off his head!
Throw in some "in a shense"s, and it reads like a transcript.
It's so great they flipped the script on that miserable cunt and had a laugh at the fact they've been banned from the show. Howard's M.O. is to wait until someone he jettisons says the slightest negative thing about him and then act butthurt about it. But Howard can't say dick about this because they're not goofing at him at all, but at the same time they're still pointing out what a completely unfunny, uptight douchebag he's become.
I never truly believed Gilbert was banned. But I do now. And it ain't the spitting on the cupcakes. It's something else
It was first podcast of Gilbert's I have listened to. Very funny with Artie
Funny how now that he's persona non grata on Howard, Gilbert's profile has never been higher
