The TSA in it's infinite wisdom has decided Knives on airline flights are just fine as long as:

Knives with blades no more than 2.36 inches in length from tip to where the blade meets the handle or hilt will be approved for carry-on.

The blade must be no more than half an inch in width.

The TSA also announced toy bats and sporting equipment such as hockey sticks and golf clubs will also be allowed on board aircraft.

What will you be carrying? :maniac:

I know a guy that has carried a knife in his carry on, on virtually every single flight he has been.

It's all in how you pack. :c

No locking blades. I'm still out.

The TSA is such a joke. I fucking hate flying now.

...for Domestic travel...carry on is the way to go now with the new x-ray scanners... a few joints rolled with some actual cigarettes in the box or brownies... has worked about a dozen times for me with no issues. The dogs are sniffing for bombs, not pot... Never tried it on an international flight.

The wrestler Paul "The Butcher" Vachon travels around selling knives that were confiscated at the checkpoints. And his books, of course. He's a great guy. Getting a little long in the tooth though.

I try not to take anything on a flight with me that I will miss if it is stolen by TSA. Also, I avoid bringing stuff that will put me in their airport jail or whatever they call it.

Flying is already so fucking shitty. Why make it even worse?

They were likely too lazy to do a proper search, probably just opened the bag and did a quick look but I don't see them going the all the pockets of your clothes. Drug dog may have sniffed it but they half assed it.

I think this is a great decision. These are pretty tiny blades, and knives are very practical. Now I don't have to be worried about forgetting my credit card and keychain knives every time I fly.
