Never seen them before, hopefully its a good show. Anyone else here going? (Toronto)
Say hi for me.
On a Tuesday?
Make sure you bring your "I love Eddie" poster board you made
Pearl Jam. Meh. Overrated.
Don't forget to wear your Depends so you won't miss a note.
I saw them on opening night in Ft. Lauderdale. Horrible set list. Too many songs off the last two albums. It's gotten better since then though.
They really are a pretty shitty band. Way overrated. Ten was a brilliant album start to finish but it has been all downhill from there. The production and mix of there albums since Ten have been horrible. The guitars are grating and thin sounding. Playing is very subpar.
Vs. was an excellent album, some of their best work and Vitalogy was by no means "horrible". They have put out some stinkers since then but generally have a better catalog of songs than most popular bands.
You'll get 2.5-3 solid hours of tunes. Some better than others - but that's what beer and bathroom breaks are for.
Their encores are always so formulaic to me. That's my biggest complaint.
Also agree with the general sentiment that their albums and continued to decline with each subsequent release. The playing and sound is not my gripe - it's the songwriting.
Yeah, but you have to give Eddie credit for being the first monotone yodeler.
Pearl Jam is cool
If you don't like them fuck you
You don't like them, so they're overrated.
You're so much smarter than the people who bought the 60 million albums they've sold.
Ask Eddie Vedder if he is excited about the wall that Trump is gonna build.
Also ask him if he'd vote for a Sleep-Chriza President/VP tag team.
Wait when did it become 1991 again?
Well Bon Jovi has sold over 130 million albums, Taylor Swift 40 million. So you must be smarter than the Swift fans but much less intelligent than the Bon Jovi fans.......ok got it.
Opinions are like assholes.
Everyone has one and I wanna butt fuck them.
They are incredible live!
