My favorite was "The Veldt." Kids got tired of their parents ordering them around so they had them pulled into their virtual TV and eaten by lions. lulz.

He wrote some Twilight Zone episodes both original and remake. besides his books and short stories he wrote a lot for tv.

oh that was so cool. i remember it vividly. it was very well done.

i didn't realize that it was a vitual tv. that makes sense.

i can easily suspend disbelief and i don't question a lot of things. :toke:

I didn't know what else to call it. Ends with the kids sitting in front of it with the mothers scarf in the veldt blowing on the breeze. lol

Also did you know in 451 where he got the main character's names? Underwood was the brand of typewrite he typed it up on. It was in the library and had a ten cent timer on it. He would show up with rolls of dimes. Montague was the name of the manufacturer of the paper. :dancin2:

I'm ashamed but I mostly know him from TZ episodes. I have read a few short stories though. I've seen F451 with Julie Christie (?), but have not read the book... :nocheer:

Fahrenheit 1600° minimum is required to ensure disintegration of the corpse. :grad:

    Let's pretend I didn't know that. :maniac:

It's only weird if you also know what it takes to get a house burning at that temp.
