ITT post a great cover song followed by the original (The original doesn't have to be great).

Not a far deviation from the original, but Bowie does it justice.

Good cover, but I'm one of the few who loves the original much more...

this one will take a while but i highly recommend taking the time to listen...this is basically the first incarnation of primus along with an extra guitar player, keyboards and sax...they play a live version of pink floyd's animals recorded at the great american music hall in san francisco on 10/8 and 10/9/2000...its pretty much dead on true to the original..

Blue Cheer did a much better version than The Who.

I caught that on Deep Tracks a few years ago. I have the whole recording and it's great.

Every time I hear somebody say "Elvis stole the black man's music," I think of this. Listen to the two versions. Same song, but radically different music.
