The super funny, (apparently) little watched HBO series Life Is Short has its series finale on Friday. The Rickey Gervais & Steve Merchant developed and written series starred Warrick Davis and was 1000x funnier than that shit show the Girls.

I loved this show. Warwick plays it straight with perfect comedic timing, he's awesome.

not sure why it wasn't more popular, maybe the subtle style of Gervais British humor gets lost on Walmart shoppers and maryanne from brooklyn types of mental deficients that rather watch gong shows.

Love this show, love all Gervais/Merchant projects. Extras might be my favourite of all time.

I also recommend the past season of An Idiot Abroad: The Short Way Round. it featured Warwick together with Karl in three episodes going to different countries.

There's one scene I think in China where they've gotta go up a zillion steps and Warwick's gotten a bit teary eyed because its kicking his ass and he doesn't want assistance. And he's trying to put a brave face on it but it breaks him. Shit, even I got a bit choked up and I'm normally fine watching Auschwitz documentaries or neurosurgery while eating cold pizza ..

unlike eric the modget, you will never laugh at Warwick. You'll only laugh with him, he's that great.

I watch my HboGo all the time. Never heard of this show. HBO should learn how to better market their stuff.

This show spawned the funniest 5 min span of television I've seen in years. What great writing.

No doubt! His dimwitted assistant cracks me up as well.

One of the funniest shows I've seen in awhile.

Stephen Merchant and Ricky Gervais have split up and this Finale definitly bears the brunt. I saw this when it came out and it was a big disappointment and I suspect it is because their collaboration came to and end. In fact since the split with his crazy twitter rants and trolling of Christians(never attacks Jews, Muslims,Hindus, or Buddhist) and his bitterly unfunny uninteresting DEREK thing, I say the MERCHANT not GERVAIS was the funny behind their collaborations like the Office, Extras, ect.

My review is 2 stars out of four, only watch if you were a HUGE fan of the show. I was and I still think it SUUUKED!

If you think this stuff is funny, although you probably already know about it, look up Ricky Gervais' podcasts from about 10 years ago with Steve Merchant and Karl Pilkington. You may also like the show "Peep Show" which is a British comedy.
