We're enjoying the highest agricultural crop output in human history. The author makes a solid case that MORE, not less, Carbon Dioxide is supportive of life on Earth.

Not going to matter if the "breadbasket" portion of the US goes in to a severe decades long drought.

didnt read cause i wouldnt be smart enough to understand it, but i dont have a problem with skeptics, its just funny when ppl say " they cant know, but i know".

theres nothing wrong with taking reasonable measures to conserve the environment anyways

Aside from coastal flooding it's really the only thing we have to worry about.
You think it's bad being held hostage by OPEC wait until it becomes necessary to get our food from Russia or China.

It is fun and funny how the 'debate is over' idiots have had to continuously change their story.
10 years ago we were told winters were a thing of the past. Summers would be extreme....and in 10 years (TODAY) coastal areas would be flooded from all the melted ice!
After the Katrina hurricane season they told us to get use to this absurd amount of hurricanes.
They got EVERYTHING wrong 10 years ago......but now they got it right?

It's actually not well written at all. It's biased crap written by a dope for dopey consumers who already have a conclusion in mind and are looking for data to support that conclusion without much thought given to accuracy or truthfullness.

    At a minimum...

-Patrick Moore is not a founder of Greenpeace, I figured that out in 0.01 seconds with Google.

    http://www.greenpeace.org/usa/en/campaigns/history/the-founders/

-The guy has made a good living being a paid lobbyist for various industries (nuclear, logging, etc). Nothing wrong with that, but he capitalizes on his "environmentalist cred" to earn that living, and embellishes his cred in the process and obscures his motives. To say "take with a grain of salt" is an understatement

-Most importantly, a lot of the stuff he says in the article is just provably false. His opening statement that there is no factual evidence of humans being the main factor in climate change, is factually untrue. There is tons of evidence of it. What he says is no different than the religitards who say "there is no evidence for evolution", when there is evidence everywhere. He makes claims that are false, as well as statements of fact without any references of support, as well as contradictory statements. Not to mention, his rationale is all over the place... culminating in one of the dumbest conclusions ever - that we should be encouraging higher CO2 levels if we want to do right by the environment.

As I said, written by a dummy for consumption by dummies.

Well, it's easy to debunk someone when you lie about what they said. Nobody every said "winters were a thing of the past", etc. That's like claiming "Bush said if we went into Iraq, we would all get a million dollars. Guess he was a liar!". As I said, written by dummies for consumption by dummies.

The high tide mark in the NYC area has been increasing slowly but surely since we have been keeping records. That's documented. Now it seems to be picking up speed.

The fear is that some giant ice lake on one of the poles is going to connect with the sea and begin to melt and once that starts, it looks like it can't be stopped. That may be where the ten foot rise numbers are coming from.

Is it happening because of humans living on the planet? Probably.
Is there anything at this point we can do about it? Possibly.
Should we be aware of it? Definitely.

Should small business be crippled by things like a Carbon Tax? No.
That should be the argument, not the science.
