    To the UFC.

    Does anyone care?

Personally, I liked GSP before he won the belt, but he became a boring fighter to watch and I'm an MMA fan I watch it all not just UFC. I like a good ground fight but his are awful. I appreciate his dominance... but he's boring. He doesn't ever try to finish the fight anymore.

The only fight that was great post title was the Hendricks fight....a fight I believe he lost.

Do I wanna see him wrestlefuck Robbie Lawler and lay on him for four and a half minutes for five rounds? Fuck no.

Whats the source, I hope its not true.

With his retirement, he mapped out his career perfectly.

Aldo, Silva, Barao waited too long.

Why risk coming back only to possibly get beaten and ruin your legacy.

I am sure that with the kind of BIG money that they could possibly be offering to him for a return...it has to be *very* tempting.

That's what I'm thinking. When he stepped away, it seemed like the fight had left him.

I'm an old-school mma fan, been following since the mid-nineties. GSP had a few exciting fights in his early days, when he took the belt from Matt Hughes or avenged his loss to Matt Serra. After that he became a point-fighter, only doing enough to win, rather than entertain the fans.

    I don't think so.
    Always a possibility/chance.......but I don't think so.

I'd go with the possibility of an Anderson Silva "super fight" first....but even that is kind of lackluster these days..and it's not really likely....even though the
powers that be might still try to make it and try to promote/sell it.

Agreed that he became a safe fighter but also more dominating which is also what we all would do to keep our belts and the big money coming in. I appreciate his technicality rather than a brawl

Yes he was dominant after the take down but there were many fights in which he did very little damage from dominant position and was given too much time without being stood up. I know elitists claim to appreciate the technique but in the end the majority crave excitement. We want blood, we want men to be men and stand and trade until one gets knocked the fuck out. fuck technique.

Okay buddy... GSP doesn't lay on people :jj:

You must've missed his last 9 fights. That's ALL he did. Playing it safe and lay and pray are very different. GSP used his strength to get people on the mat and would hold them down. Hardly ever going for submissions.

He is an exhibitionist. He craves 25 minutes of dry humping in front of an audience.

Anderson said he would never fight in Reebok gear. I kinda figured the hot piss test was an FU to UFC.

Besides, Silva is too big for GSP. Silva 6'2, GSP is 5'9.
