    EIGHTEEN!! Holy shit.

    But "only six are ours". Six alone is pretty bad. Trust me, one girlfriend I was with had us up to five. I like cats, but five was out of control.

    How the fuck does one have eighteen cats in their house??????
    The smell and the fur and the destructive scratching. They can pay poor Consuela to constantly scoop shit and run around with a giant lint roller, but there's NO WAY she can keep all of those cats from scratching Howard's shit to shreds.

    When I finally quit listening to the show at the end of 2012 I remember him having 2 or 3 cats, and swearing that there was no way that he would ever have any more than that no matter what. Oh, how the blind and retarded kittens have come home to roost.

    Sounds like animal hoarding to me...they have a home not a shelter. Beth has evolved into a cat hoarder and Howard is too much of wussie to lay the law down and demand that she get rid of them. Six is bad enough but 18? In some jurisdictions that would definitely be considered hoarding and they would be ordered to get rid of them or face Animal Control coming in taking them out. They have a luxury apartment building and Howard's place alone cost millions and she's using it as an animal refuge? That apartment isn't equipped to take care of these animals in the way they should be.
