I agree with this man, i think you should be able to buy a gun with your cereal. Some may think thats crazy but if a tool to protect yourself is available then all people should have access to it. There should be a AR15 behind every blade of grass :grad:

Gun control is unconstitutional and ineffective.

That said people shouldn't be allowed to own guns before receiving proper training. I saw trained soldiers do asinine things with live rounds in the Army.

I am very confident that what happened in Paris would not happen in a US state where gun ownership is popular. Maybe they'd get to a few people, but never the amount as they did in Paris.

Perhaps the 2nd amendment is what will protect America.

Ironically, Obama wants gun control to be his major focus of his last year in office. We should change his name to President Backwards.

Stupid people with guns get weeded out, thats not a valid argument. There should be no gun control at all.

I dont have a gun. I dont want a gun. most of my friends have concealed permits. I do believe in having to provide a certification from a trained mental health professional as part of your background check to obtain a gun. that would be a small start.

Training and education does not equal gun control.

No one is saying that. Of course there should be some logical restrictions and required training but anti gun activists want guns banned or at least most guns to be banned which is unconstitutional

And pro gun extremists don't want any restrictions. There's not enough common sense gun talk.

Thinking clearly? I was born in a ranch town, grew up on ranches. My Grandfather had a loaded gun around every corner, there was never an accident. My grandfather taught me gun safety at a very young age.

I think it has a lot to do with your surroundings, i wouldn't give a 5 year old a gun in Chicago.
