he does sound really good
I didn't think he would
I saw them in Nashville and was shocked at how not terrible they sounded. Actually as far as a live gig goes, they sounded better than when I saw them on the UYI tour back in '92.
Steven Adler joined on Out Ta Get Me and My Michelle last night....
I hope the AFD5 do some gigs next year to celebrate their 30th anniversary. Come on Izzy!!
Saw them last week in Phoenix. He may have sounded good but the sound in the stadium was so fucking horrible I wouldn't have been able to tell. A couple times I couldn't tell what song they were playing. It sounded like hearing your apartment neighbor's music through paper thin walls. Glad I only paid $20 to get in.
I saw the Stones in the same stadium about 10 years ago and it sounded just as shitty. I'm hoping they come back through playing arena shows after this tour.
That sounded good
Duff looks like he takes care of himself
Awesome that they do Coma live
I don't know why they don't just give him the gig, Frank fucking sucks.
Never was a fan enuff to figure any of their songs out ...But wonder if they are tuned down here ..sounds good but little odd ..could be video quality I suppose.
Anyone else think the singer is starting to look like j rock from the jerky boys
Saw Guns in Seattle last week and it was great as well. The annoying thing was all the millennials sitting, gabbing and taking selfies during pretty much every song but "Welcome to the Jungle" or "Sweet Child." But Guns certainly made a mint off of the kids, they all bought a t shirt and then they'd pose taking pics making the metal devil horns. They were there just to post shit on social media.
Has anyone figured out what that chick Melissa Reese is supposed to be doing?
They've always tuned down a half step and that's what it is here.
I was given a ticket to see them last week and went, a bit begrudgingly. There is almost zero chemistry and interaction onstage but they sounded better and less bloated than the 92-93 shows I saw.
Drummer uses a click track and is as stiff and robotic as Matt Sorum though. It should be Steven on the old songs and Frank on the ChiDem garbage.
She sings backup (probably covering for Axl a bit) and plays all the samples and electronic shit during the newer songs. She's married to Brian Mantia, the original scab drummer for the nu-GnR.
4 weeks for me until Axl/DC
I've been die hard GNR since pre-Appetite. Gonna be a mindfuck seeing Axl fronting another band live.
Not sure what the deal is. I saw Izzy guest nu-GNR live in NYC and London.
They rocked the shit out of Detroit!
They have a different drummer. This guy loves to fill everything up and make every song faster. He sucks.
