Steven Adler waits for the call in his living room while Metronome Boy makes every song sound like shit.

Izzy is the shit. Set for life and does whatever he wants.

One of the best shows I ever saw was Izzy and the JuJu Hounds opening for Keith Richards in SF in Jan. 1993.

damn, 8 tunes off Appetite...would kill to hear 'One in a Million' live..they'll never do it though...not with the lyrics that include the words Reggie, immigrants and faggots

**intersting..the 'N' word changes to 'Reggie'..

I've told anyone who'll listen that Izzy was the quiet assassin in that band. Less appreciated, but crucial for his excellent song writing and low ego.

I like Izzy, but sometimes I think gets put on a pedestal that he doesn't necessarily deserve.

As for the songwriting, I can only base it on what he's credited with. Appetite For Destruction has all of the writing credits going to the band as a whole, so I have no idea what he wrote on that record.

On the two Use Your Illusion records, my favorite tracks ("Coma", "The Garden", "November Rain", "Civil War", Estranged") are songs where Izzy had no part in the writing. The one exception would be "Bad Obsession". I think that's a pretty cool tune, but musically it sounds much more like the JuJu Hounds than GNR.

He's a fantastic guitar player, I'll give him that. I also respect the fact that he is doing the type of music he wants to do rather than grab the huge paycheck on this tour.

    HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!

I am really sorry to all of the GNR fans here but I have to say it, they look exactly like wax figures here.

    Age is not their friend.

All those years of partying can't be good for you later in life..... and these guys are 100% proof of that.

AFD and Lies credited the entire band but here are the real credits:

    - Rose, Stradlin, Slash

    05. Mr Brownstone

    11. Anything Goes

Never mind the fact that he wrote most of "Think about you" when he was around 16.
