Single knot, double knot?
never wore one, never will
double full windsor. the half windors look lopsided to me.
of course its been so long since i needed to that i would probably have to practice for a while.
my normal business attire in the warm months is from Tommy Bahama lately.
Just Google it. Or go on youtube and search for it. Jebus!
I had to wear a tye to school everyday in HS, no jeans.
You tube has some good videos on how to. Plenty of different knots.
Whoop it, swoop it, pull.
Full Windor, or double
I think this looks sloppy, and when i did try to wear it i was always adjusting it trying to get it right in the middle of my collar.
Dude! We are here to have and enjoy life
Would you like to tie me up with some of your ties, Ty?
You have to try the Eldredge knot. Drives the women wild.
I like the full Windsor
btw, this is the other "sloppy" knot called the 4 in hand
its what they teach little boys in catholic schools to tie if they're not allowed to use clip ons.
it takes less skill to tie and can be done quickly.
nice thing about the windsor is that you can unbutton the collar after tying and it doesn't show. during the summer it makes the shirt and tie more comfortable.
i think what it says is "I am so anally retentive and have so little life that I have the time to tie this backwards knot"
and "I am so short that i look up to ETM".
the knot requires so much tie material that you really can't be more than 5'4" tall and be able to tie the knot and have the tip reach your waist.
I thought we were here to express our interest in tie knots?
