He got into my trash can a few days ago, he's pretty big, you can see he almost as big as one of the bags which is a grocery store sized bag. So Yesterday I put the garbage can down on the ground so he could leave, I hit the back of it with a broom, he wouldn't leave, so then I left to see if he would sneak out while i wasn't around. Then about an hour later I checked and he was still in there. I didn't want to leave it down too long because the neighbors let their small dogs out and I didn't want them getting into a fight with it. I decided to put it back upright and let the garbage men deal with him. They came and got him today. I watched as they dumped the trash and he didn't run out. then they lowered the thing that crushes the trash while loading my neighbors heavy trash can with those assistance tools they have to lift it. He is a rat, I felt kinda bad, but now he won't be under my house so that's good too, He might survive the trash and set himself free when he gets to the dump.
