Is the all time greatest caller in the world!! I pray to God nightly that he is joking when he talks about Howard being obsessed with him and all those theories! I love when he starts to say "ya Howard, you know nothing about me, ya you dont know everything I do!" Almost like Elegant Elliot! But crazier! I hope he someday gets the help he needs, but then he would suck on the phone! I hope someday he gets his own show or co hosts wiht Riley or something! LONG LIVE HANZI
He needs meds. Howard doesn't give a shit about the wack packers. He uses them until they snap. Debbie the pet lady ring a bell? I do like the wig comments Hanzi makes !
It might be funny to hear a call from Hanzi in the future where he's been treated, lives a normal life, and is a bank manager.
Problem with that is: He is fat. He is lazy. He is in Canada. He could maybe overcome one or two of those obstacles. But all 3 is asking too much.
Actually, he's talked about this quite a few times on Artie's show; Hanzi has had some truly great calls into Artie's show especially his fights with Nick, it's a shame they never made it to YouTube. Basically, his whole thing is that he HAS a prescription for meds, and when he takes them he is normal. The problem is that he isn't allowed to smoke weed on them, and he loves weed, so he goes off of the meds to smoke weed and the vicious cycle repeats itself. For awhile he was calling into Artie's show on his meds completely normal
Great point. I think Howard is cruel the way he fucks with Hanzi until he has a meltdown. If Howard really cared about Hanzi's mental well being he would stop taking is calls.
hanzi is going to stab some innocents one of these days. the fact that society knows about people like him, and waits for them to explode before taking action, is a shame. with any luck, he'll just take himself out. but he's a coward so I don't see that happening
Howard says "I care about your well-being" to Hanzi as if he's reading a boiler plate disclaimer. It's all done in the spirit of CYA.
I suspect that a guy with emotional problems who came in every day after a shift of mowing lawns or shoveling snow or picking up trash for the government would have a lot less energy for stewing over perceived slights than a guy paid to sit home and ruminate on things. He might even find himself content and even a little proud of helping pay his own way and happy just to be in out of the weather and enjoying a nice meal and some rest.
