Some good news for a change! He almost didn't make it. Had a heart valve operation several yrs back. (If he didn't
go to the Dr. or take care of it he wouldn't be here.)
Said to be worth 180mil. I never even believe these numbers are even close, but if he was worth even 25mil he'd be
    doing well.
Will be the oldest when he takes the stage Oldchella in Oct.

    Amazing, ain't it?
And all he's giving us this year is another album of Frank Sinatra covers.
Or as Drew Friedman depicted it:

Yeah, I could do w/out those. But every artist evolves somehow. Just lucky he's still around and wanting to keep on playing. Could have retired long ago-and no, I'm
    not talking about Wigtard.

And he just keeps truckin and outlives them all. (Although I shouldn't have those thoughts.) Remember a few yrs ago he was walking around a town in NJ, looking for
Springsteen and a young cop picked him up and had no clue who he was?

Fuck Maya Angelou, et al. Bobby Zimmerman could be the most seminal and relevant poetic voice of our culture. Long may he reign

Does he have a weird sense of humor? His Christmas album is fucking scary.

Yes! I am debating on seeing him in several wks. I am afraid he will just turn into Mr. Mumbles and wander about the stage like he has been doing lately. Yet Gary
is going to Oldchella since there is plenty of free time in the show schedule to do so. (Don't rule out Lenny Cohen either.)

They say I shot a man named Gray
and took his wife to Italy
    She inherited a million bucks
and when she died it came to me
I can’t help it if I’m lucky :dontknow:

I've seen him at the old LA Forum and in SD (with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers) in his heyday, and as much esteem as I hold him in, he really does not put on a spirited show. Can't believe its gotten any more inspiring. :dontknow:

Jesus for the Jews would have been too ironic.

Old and cranky. Maybe it takes a bit for him to get into it. But that last Letterman show performance...yikes.

Sued Hootie for stealing those lines for their hit song.

I own ever utterance by Dylan. Except for the Christmas album.

and rightfully so- theirs was a shameless rip of a song co-written by Donna Weiss but credited to Dylan

I've read that Dylan, himself wasn't aware of the suit, that his management company initiated... and Darius actually inserted those lyrics as an homage to Bob.

Oh Lord, really? I thought a chance to ck him out. Somehow, I ended up w/ an unofficial bucket list of ones I'd like to see. Naturally, it's all the old ones. I really should be seeing the younger ones since they seem to be cking out nowadays!
