Happy 4th of July, my dawg shed peeps!!

What's on the agenda for today? Hubby and I are going to his co-worker's house for a BBQ.. he's kind of my coworker, too as we're all electricians...and I gotta remember to steer the conversation away from talking "shop" as it is kind of rude

Can't stay too late as I just got sent back to work..was hoping to have July off, but I am very grateful to have a good union job in the USA!!!

    Holla!!!

Taking it easy. Have some frozen swordfish to grill for dinner. A little carne asada I may polish off for lunch. Fruit to make a fruit salad. Otherwise planning a low-impact day. Walk out in front of the house to see fireworks tonight. Then explain to the cats that A) the world isn't ending B) the fireworks are not my fault.

I was up at my sister in laws house for five days. They have a summer home in Fair Haven by Lake Ontario. Drank a lot of beer and ate a lot of food. A good time was had by all. I drove back to Pennsylvania this morning. I have to work on Tuesday.

About four hours. Not much traffic today. I took my time. I really wish I could have stayed longer.
