Ray Donovan was solid but I'm not sure about these others
I had the whole season of the Bridge DVR'd and then deleted it---
'Low Winter Sun' is garbage. Watched the 1st three episodes and bailed.
The Bridge season just wrapped up......not worth the effort. Low Winter Sun is also very "meh". I woulda bailed on both but just watched 'em as I fall to sleep in the evenings.
I wasn't impressed by Ray Donovan. Still haven't finished the season.
I'm leaning toward that. I have to say, the black guy partner is a horrible character and the lead character is a complete bore. The only interesting part is Ziggy from "The Wire" and his crew. They should have made the show about him vs. the black gang and the mafia dudes.
Really? I thought is was very good, not great. Finish the season out. It's worth it.
I have 5 eps of Boardwalk Empire sitting on the DVR... the interest is meh, usually because I'm too buzzed after football to attempt to enjoy it.
I think its supposed to rain Saturday. Might be the catch up day for the season.
The Bridge is a great show..love it
and if I remember correctly you liked The Killing so you will like it.
And I lost interest in Ray Donovan after episode 4.
Thanks Obama... I mean Time Warner, when it was blacked out for 5 weeks.
Love "The Killing" but couldn't get into The Bridge.
Tell me why you like it? What makes it good?
I am in total agreement with Brah...Ray Donovan was pretty fucking great. I bailed on The Bridge after 2 episodes and I watched Low Winter Sun with half an eye on the TV while posting about Breaking Bad. I will finish the season of LWS but I doubt I will be back for the next one.
It gets better, dude. Why didn't you like it?
I can't see Jon Voight as anyone other than Bud Kilmer.
Just lots of twists and I find the border town.subject matter pretty interesting since it's something that is never really portrayed on TV. THey do a good job of keeping you guessing about the Killer as well.
No or No
I can see why some people bailed on RD because the kid's story lines were lame. That stuff ends and it gets more hardcore the deeper into the show you get.
Wasn't James Woods awesome? I loved that scene with Jon Voight in the woods the dialogue was priceless.
Maybe I'll pick it back up. Nothing but Homeland and Strike Back to look forward to now
I liked the first episode of The Black List. Haven't watched E2 yet.
