Love the old ways.
loved it. if you watched AGT instead of this you have a fat vagina
Watched the first two parts so far.
What it is? channel?
Hatfields & McCoys one night, playoff hockey the next. Similarly entertaining. Both trying to kill each other. Good stuff.
watched it but it didn't grab me yet. I'll give it one more shot probably.
it was fucking awesome, & followed the actual history pretty good. i had to watch it twice to get the characters & stroryline straight. it all made sense the 2nd time.
pics & info of the actual family here
Same here. My only complaint is the same complaint that I have for any late 19th century period piece; the period era acting always seems to make the characters feel way too 1 dimensional. Either you're the innocent, gullible country bumpkin or you're the angry, ignorant type who has no patience for foolishness and new ways of doin' thangs. Or you're the abusive drunk. Everybody else is peripheral and by the numbers.
truth be known devil hatfield was more of a businessman & wore suits. he had quite a timber operation for that area & time & was even dealmaking with some mccoys. but the other side is that its appalachia & things havent progressed much since the turn of the century
it was ok...and of course the country bumpkin had to take the fall.
jesus christ, they were all bumpkins & this is a true story btw, the romances between the family included... wtf?
Amazing show, the best TV I have seen lately, other than Boardwalk Empire. Tom Berenger was really good, hope it gives his career a boost.
ya, i had no idea that tom berenger was badass uncle jim until after the final ep.
It was the McCoys who started all the shit.
I thought the series was really good. I also thought the Geico ad with the two Hatfield and McCoy descendants was funny.
Agreed, i really liked it.... Well worth watching
bill paxton and kevin costner.
yeah, i don't think so.
