I haven't heard their show yet.....
If so what have they said about it?
Surprisingly, as far as I've heard they say nothing but good things about Howard and the show...Artie being on "the greatest radio show of all time" etc.
Does it sound sincere?
Nick still needs guest spots, and Artie is probably riddled with guilt, so I wouldn't expect much...
Is their show any good?
I don't know. I'm avoiding it because Artie is apparently on another death spiral.
But everyone here says it's great.
It does sound sincere, and it can be hysterically funny at times.
Nick's politics are hard to take, but he keeps it to a minimum.
Give it a try!
I see, I wasn't much of an Artie fan, but I've heard he and Nick have pretty good chemistry together. So I figured in the midst of riffin they would have gotten to the heart of the matter. In a real way.
I think I will
They have too much respect for Howard as an entertainer and for what he has done for their careers to ever bad mouth the show.
However, based on the celebrities and tv shows they bash, as well as the non stop complaining about the pc pussification of America, it's pretty easy to deduce what they think about the evolved Howard
Show is fantastic and is my favorite show on radio.
You should check it out. Artie is far funnier than he was at the end of his Stern tenure, it's obvious he is doing much better now and no longer lethargic and fucked up on drugs
They respect Howard but I imagine both guys know how far the show has fallen
It's really good. I liked nick when he had a slot on 92.3 or 102.7 a few years back. He was solo and I think him having a whitty partner now makes him 100% better.
Artie and nick don't take shit from each other, but instead of insulting they dig and claw and open sore wounds like all comedians do when they fight.
It's certainly worth a listen. Especially the next few weeks with the superbowl coming up. Nick's a pat's fan, artie a giants fan. The best part is, if you go to nickandartie.com you can hear the replays whenever you want.
Thanks all's ya'lls I'm listening to them now.
You can kinda tell Nick thinks Stern has fallen, but he wont say so until Artie makes the first move. I think he knows how much Artie loves Howard and doesn't want to shatter his illusion.
I thought the show was pretty good last night. I'll listen again tonight.
This is correct. I seem to remember in the first few weeks of shows Artie saying something about Stern's millions of listeners, and Nick saying something along the lines of "not anymore".
