Have we all bought in to the media's push to make celebrities appear and seem god like?

this forum visited by thousands dedicated to a scumbag liar conman radio dj.

old mean spirited broad dies the media acts as if she helped lepers in calcutta. (revisionist history?
In one breath we are told that bullying is bad yet that is exactly what rivers was. I dont doubt for one minute that she had to be that way to survive in show buisness as a woman as long as she did! But outright sainthood for the old plastic bitch?

kim kardashian, bottom line vile fetishist (Black guys only) porn ho makes almost billions?

Paris hilton vile white filthy ho, makes almost billions.

these are just some of examples there are hundreds!
it's all kind of scary when you consider some people believe everything they are told or read. and the media seems to be working for the publicist first and the truth second.

Media is business, not a bunch of philosophers or missionaries. They publish what sells. Like my grandmother said, "Save your money, starve the whores."

God bless her, she was a saint.

What ever media of the day has always created celebrities, from John the Baptist to Kim Kardashian. It's nothing new.

Joan once broke a heel at the capital or white house and they thought it was under attack. She told her friend to "save yourself". Therefore she must be a saint. The humiliation of and making women cry because of their clothing and makeup was just a cover job.

Not all that long ago, I remember a guy on the radio who had millions of listeners and basically spent a good part of his daily show brutally calling out the bullshit that is celebrity worship. From what I understand, his ability to ridicule these celebs was incapacitated by prolonged exposure to wig epoxy.

Fortunately, we still have Trey Parker and Matt Stone doing what is desperately needed.

been saying this for years. We g to rock concerts 80% to be in the same room with the act,20% is the music. After all,you can hear the music for free at home, live doesn`t change the music much.

I know,I have gone to see most major acts. You feel honoured to be in their presence, they`re geniuses, how lucky we are to be with them. The music is more fun live, but its a trick of the mind. If you put on a live CD at home of the exact concert, any of them,it would be less enjoyable, because you aren`t "with" your idols.
