I did my great-great grandfather , born in 1886. I was ten when he died, in 1986. His son still comes to my parent ' s house every Thanksgiving , he is 80 something.

"Back in my day, cutting-edge radio was old Jewish ladies with cobweb puss talking about transgendered Olympians for hours on end."

    Yes, but here's my question.
Why do people born in the 1800's love saying, "Let's fuck some whores"?

Both my grandparents (my mother's parents) were born in 1893, and died in the 1980's. On my father's side I only knew my grandmother, his dad was killed in a traffic accident in 1946, so I only knew of him through pictures.
I would often think that my grandparents were born in a time when electric lighting in homes was barely starting to become commonplace and the airplane had not yet been invented. So much has happened in the last 100 plus years, it's really mind-boggling...

Possibly, I was alive in the 70s so if I spoke to anyone in their 80s they would have been born in the 18000s

But no anyone specifically. Perhaps when I was a baby, I think I recall a story of meeting one of my great grandparents.

My grandparents were born I the late 1800's. They all lived into their 80's or 90's. Before they had cars, electricity and indoor plumbing. Maybe there is something about a simple life.
