I just clicked through Dawg's Amazon link and spent $114.58 on Lego books for the grandkids (plus two cookbooks for me). :yay: :cheer:

If you haven't started, when do you start?

I've been picking up things here and there since September. :c

It's so easy with Amazon...and less expensive. I have Prime so shipping is free. The books I bought today were twice the price at Barnes & Noble.

You're right. I've got Prime too. I'm sure that's what I'll do. I don't see how brick and mortar retailers stay in business.

My wife wants a Micheal Kors handbag. If you have any ideas on where to get one cheap, or any links for Chinese knock-offs, please let me know.

I still enjoy the "shopping experience" at brick and mortar retailers - there are some things I need to see in person before I buy... like clothes and shoes. Don't usually order those online regularly.

Nope. I usually give my nieces and nephews cash, but my sister won't let me get her kids anything this year. "They're too old for that now."

I need to see most things in person before I buy, and I don't trust UPS or Fedex. The only thing I'm comfortable buying online are usually CD's, books and clothes from certain retailers.

Gift cards, too. We get 'fuel perks' at the grocery store, so buying gift cards help drive down the price per gallon. I throw gift cards in as stocking stuffers.

You can find them at TJ Maxx for a more reasonable price than at high end department stores.

One time Fed Ex delivered a 42 inch tv and left it sitting in front of our mud room door all day.

I think the shipper should have sent that "requires signature".
