Ever had kidney stones? Lately I've been getting a sharp pain in my right hip/side. It seems to radiate down to my thigh. Stone? Or pulled muscle?

Does it get worse when transitioning from sit/stand? I had a slipped l5/s1 disc that pinched a nerve and it fucking hurt!

I vote pulled muscle: if you had kidney stones you wouldn't be lying down. The pain sucks no matter what position you are in. Also it tends to radiate in a belt around you: the nerves for the support of the kidneys plugs into your pineal cord at the same level as the other parts of your body in line with them. Pain that radiates down one leg sounds more like sciatica

If I press down on my hip while driving, it seems to go down "a little" walking feels better.

Btw, if you lay down on your back, press in the area of your abdomen above the top of your right hip as hard as you can, and then let go really fast, can they hear your scream in china right before you pass out from the pain? If so it's appendicitis.

That depends. Is your urine normally red?

Its basically a spasming nerve, usually from being constricted as it passes through an opening in your hip. It radiates down one leg because it is one of the main nerves for that leg. If feels more like a fire radiating down the leg than an ache.

If it hurts inner groin/thigh that's hip, if it hurts ass down leg,it's spinal, if it hurts mid back like a punch to a spot, kidney. Rest is muscular.

Good. I get nervous when I tell people to do that and then they don't respond. I get afraid that they passed out.
