Bud, stay the FUCK out
So I'm going grocery shopping, and an acquaintance of mine, who shall remain nameless, wrote me out a list of what to buy. Tell me if you disagree or agree with the list, or if there is anything you'd add. I shall past it henceforth:
Frozen turkey burgers (so easy!!!!!!)
Bacon (just don’t eat the whole thing)
Light string cheese
Protein bars (check the calories and fat)
Kidney beans (good on salads)
Progresso light soups.....(easy!!!)
Cuties (no, not me...the oranges)
Spaghetti squash (just fucking eat it!!)
Skinny pop popcorn is bomb as fuck my nigga
Too much dairy. Pick 2 of those dairy items and that's all you get.
Is it really??? Diet popcorn sounds like shit.
I'm not buying all that. Definitely getting cottage cheese tho
How much of this stuff would you actually eat?
Do you know how to cook asparagus?
So are you going full Atkins or just trying to cut out some carbs?

Well, your nuts have a lot of fat in them, but they're pretty good for you. Unsaturated vs. saturated fat. Just don't eat them all like you say with the bacon.
I eat tons of nuts
Also, ground turkey and turkey burgers aren't as healthy as they seem. Make sure the turkey is very lean.
I ate a whole bag of pistachios for dinner last night

Plain Greek yogurt can be substituted for sour cream, and is much healthier.
Don't get Turkey bacon. It's got a lot more sodium. Try to find Applegate Farms brand, as they don't use nitrates.
Avoid soy-based protein bars.
If you're getting canned beans, go organic. They have a lot less sodium. If you're going dry, ignore my previous statement.
Add potatoes. Good source of vitamin C and potassium. Just be careful how you prepare them.
I would say don't get protein bars - the only ones that you would enjoy the taste of are full of sugar, pretty much candy pretending to be "healthy". Have a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts for a snack.
