This will be awesome. Still in the middle of Breaking Bad season 2 and pissed at myself for going all these years without watching it, Superman and Ben Afleck are both fucked.

I agree with you. I'm afraid that they're the only movies Hollywood will make, guaranteed blockbusters. I maybe see on average 2 films a year. Last films seen being Lincoln, The Master, The Last Batman (which I had go to wasted to be able to watch it). So I had a big year, I saw three.

Wizard of Oz (the original) is better than any super hero movie.

I can't fucking stand Ben Affleck, and Cranston couldn't save that piece of shit Argo, so I still can't say I'm pumped to see this happen.

Well, the biggest problem with comic book movies, especially super hero comic book movies is that no innocent civilians die.

That last Avenger's film? Loki invades NYC or Metropolis or whatever the fuck it's called; buildings have whole sections sheared off, building chunks fall into the streets and not a single person on the street or in the buildings is shown getting killed.

All because the little kiddies can't see even a modicum of reality.

I found it hilarious in the last Superman (ending spoiler)

That Superman and Zod spend 20 minutes destroying an entire inhabited city fighting each other. With Superman having zero regard for anyone's life and then suddenly just because Zod is going to kill 4 tourists at the museum he freaks out and finds the strength to snap Zod's neck.

and the last GI Joe movie had people dying in every gruesome way possible, and not a drop of blood in the movie.

Seemed like an obvious match to me, I was telling my co-worker when we were 2 seasons in on Breaking Bad that it's like watching the creation of Lex Luthor.

That's why i love Mortal Kombat. The earlier versions were so ridiculous with blood and guts that sometimes when you killed an opponent, they'd explode and you'd see four arms, six legs and seven eyes even though you only killed one person. :jj:

Nah, but I'm all burned out on Superman and Batman and Spiderman and Iron Man and Thor.

    Where the women at?

I'm burned out on comic flicks as well...although I think Bryan is inspired casting.
Maybe if there weren't so many shit comic movies out there I'd be a bit more excited.

They will keep making these pieces of shit as long as the nerds and kids show up to see them.
