Real and I inherited an entire estate. All of the items from the home were shipped from Florida to our place in Iowa. Now we trying to figure out what to do with it all. Anyone ever tried selling on ebay? There is a nice collection of Royal Doulton china, glasses and figurines and also a huge art collection. :dontknow:

Don't be stupid. Have it appraised first. Shell out a few bucks, it will make you more in the long run.

I'd call an estate auctioneer. You'll get cash usually and don't have to deal with shipping.

The part that scares me is figuring out shipping.

An auction house will sell it for you if there is one around your area.

Do you pay auctioneers a percentage of what is made, a flat fee, or both?

Figure your best avenue for selling it. Usually, selling it online will get you more customers, but you will be getting the least in return. I would put most of it on CL personally.
