Cliff notes? Way to long. Way to boring. Way to be a bully Rollins, kid may have been 5'6, 70lbs... Hope there's a back story to this.

it's a slow burn & an interesting watch...cringe worthy. seemed like hank was trying to get the kid to cry. i'd actually like to here rollins comment on it now...maybe he has? i'm too lazy to search:burp:
rollins was far more aggressive back in the day.

Rollins is being a complete douchebag here. Good thing he's as hot as he was (not so much is, but I wouldn't kick him out )

    Bummer.

I don't know why but when I think of male goth, wannabe, poetic, pissed off, artist, black clothed, gym obsessed, short, douches, I think of Henry Rollins and Glen Danzig.

    Douche!!!

I think if that kid had a quick right he could have knocked that little loudmouth bullshitter out in one shot.

I like Rollins, but probably only because I don't know him.

Rollins says something mildly interesting in between his long bouts of over-wrought, hyperactive, juvenile douchebagerry. He is consistent, though: he was doing the whole "angry poet" thing from day one; long before he was making any dough off of it (e.g., those asinine Lexus commercials he did !!).

    "See the monkey's eyes.
Look deep into the monkey's eyes as he comes to you smiling.
Day after day the monkey's eyes become bigger and bigger.
Soon the monkey's eyes are all you can see.
Soon the monkey's eyes become your eyes.
    You feel the monkey's bite.
Monkey see monkey do, monkey will destroy you."

But that kid is an asshole.

My buddy is good friends with the fat dude that knocked Danzig out. He got a lot of death threats from Danzig fans after it happened.

Exactly, that stuff he flogged was cool in the 90s but I know him as a cop in an awesome Charlie Sheen movie.

I still say "Kick it to me, Pele" whenever I can. Lol

Poor kid was awkward and dopey with a bunch of empty-headed questions, but Rollins should have taken the high road. Seems so different from the "thinking man's punk-poet" persona he later became known for. I guess he was trying to be "punk" but I don't think the dopey kid deserved to be raked over the coals like that. Furthermore, his verbal and physical interaction with the kid seemed to have some type of weird dominating gay overtone to it.

Kid held his own in that douche-off. Didn't get rattled at all. Curious to know what became of him.

I met Henry after a show back in 1995. He was stoic, but politely talked to me. Got a picture with him, and he made a douchey face and ruined it. Wahh. Learned to love the art but not the artist.

He should have just sang My War to the kid in the interview:

My war you're one of them
You say that you're my friend
    But you're one of them
You don't want to see me live
You don't want me to give
    cause you're one of them

My war you're one of them
You say that you're my friend
    But you're one of them
I might not know what a friend is
All I know is what you're not
    cause you're one of them
