Winkler is a Jew. And as a Jew would chase a nickle in a hurricane. He isn't broke just cares a lot about money.

I've seen him doing cheap TV ads for one of those "reverse mortgage" companies that sound like a scam on the elderly. I was wondering what could have happened to make him go so low rent.

I don't think any of the "Happy Days" crew had points on the show, which was in syndication forever, even though Garry Marshall (the producer) treated them very well. The money they made then was peanuts compared to what latter-day sitcom stars were making.

John Ritter might have only been making 50,000 an episode at his peak. NO syndication rights whatsoever. Michael Landon might be and example of the most brilliant TV guy ever. Produced, wrote, starred in, directed, and outright OWNED most of his shows.

After his role on Arrested Development and now on Children's Hospital the man can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned.

If the Fonz needs money, he just needs to hit a soda machine.

    The nickels come flying out.

The fonz was just fitting in with the modern day Howard stern show, where wpeveryone plays a character on the show and everyone is greedy as fuck. And he's a good actor.

...i watched michael landon film a scene for bonanza once. he was short tempered and surly when they called for him i mean its not like he should have been surprised that he was on the set and would be expected to be called on to 'act'. he was fishing off the end of a large paddle wheel boat docked at the pier, too close to shore to catch any fish anyway but when they called him he was all "WHAT"?! just seemed like he had an attitude.
