Last night was "Comfort Food" night- I even started a fire against the Spare The Air Day - Fuck The Govt. !! Dry spices from packs into the slow cooker - French Dip, Mushroom Soup, Slow Cooker Beef and .....Beef Stew ?? I had wife take out two Top Sirloin Roast from the fridge @ 2300 and place on counter - but they were still frozen when I got home from work @ 0700 - Put them baggies and defrosted in 2x changed out water - then rest @ room temp. 1/2'ed and flowered Into the dry mix - and also added 2.5 cup's of tepid water Crush and Chop a bulb of Garlic to throw into the pot. Meat seared in hot oil- let rest while I start the veggies of Carrots, Celery, Potatoes, 1/4'ed Onion's and Baby Portabella's. Top with Black Pepper and Pink Himalayan Salt - set for 6 hours- set and almost forget. When liquid level rises to far- suck off and set aside. -- Later added back in. My Favorite Cheddar Cheese to top it with. Time to sit on the sofa, enjoy the Family, fire and whatever they are watching on TV.
