Have you seen this? The Most American Thickburger topped with hot dogs, kettle chips, ketchup, mustard, onion and pickles, I expect a full review Think of this as a combo meal with the entire combo smashed between two burger buns. It's got one-third pound of Black Angus beef. It's got a grilled hot dog split in two. It's got American cheese. And, yes, it's got a layer of Lay's Kettle Cooked Potato Chips. Lose count of the layers yet? Carl's Jr. and Hardee's locations, which begin selling it May 20, are calling it The Most American Thickburger. At $5.79 a la carte or $8.29 for the combo, it will rank as one of the priciest items on the menu. But there's good reason, says Brad Haley, chief marketing officer for the two sister chains. "It's like two sandwiches in one — and your side."
