I have been trying to eat healthier but it's kind of hard when no one cooks and I eat out everyday. On the road especially.

I just dont know how :dontknow:

I slipped up and ate some fried foods over several days and started feeling like shit. I just want to eat right but I dont know how.

    Any suggestions?

Last year I had a colon infection and it fucked me up. I can hardly eat anything any more that doesnt make me sick :jj:

I have found that when I eat baked and grilled foods i feel better. I'm really tired of feeling bad I am ready to make a change in diet and exercise. By the way I am already pretty skinny because i just cant eat that much :dontknow:

good decision bro. i don't know what kind a stuff you like. my general rule is to try to keep the food "real food," not processed, an find ways to make stuff i like to eat, healthier.

i totally recommend my breakfast porridge for breakfast every day. it's so easy an so good an you can change the fruits around for a lot a variety.

i like to make healthy soups an stews an stuff in the crock pot a few times a week so dinner is ready an easy right when i'm hungry.

Exactly, Processed foods are what cause colon problems. Whole foods are the way to go but it's hard finding a place to get a good meal.

Do you have a recipe for your Breakfast?

    Do you cook at all?

I'm vegan but don't have time to cook during the week so I do a ton on the weekends and freeze it to eat during the week.

for sures i have a recipe. here it is:

get some 1/2 pint mason jars (you can do this in other jars or containers, but these are perfect size an the lids make it easy).

    add (in this order):
1/4 cup old fashioned oats (not quick cook or instant or steel cut)
    1 1/2 tsp chia seeds
    1/3 cup milk
    1/4 cup greek yogurt (plain)
1 packet stevia (i use stevia in the raw)
1 tbsp maple syrup (use natural maple syrup...not like mrs butterworths)

screw top on jar and shake to thoroughly blend ingredients.

open lid an add blueberries until jar is full. close, shake, and put in fridge over night.

i make a couple days worth at a time and eat each morning. i don't know how long it's good for, so i only make two days ahead worth.

ps: i get my chia seeds at a local nature foods co-op, but you can buy the exact same ones on amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Nutiva-Organi...TF8&qid=1358631514&sr=8-3&keywords=chia seeds
