Abscessed anal gland. His butt was turning into a big red balloon.
Doctor started talking about putting him on some good drugs while they were taking him away.
I ALMOST asked if I could have some too.
a good pet owner would express the anal glands to prevent such a thing from happening
I thought they just squeezed those suckers
Listen, I'm really not interested in the assplay you have with your dog.
Mine is getting addressed by a Pro. At much cost to me.
I bet facepalm identifies the precise area to address by finding it with his tongue.
My dogs asshole and surrounding area is foreign to me. As it should be.
if ya need to borrow a few bucks
let me know
good luck swifty
that's not how it works david
Hey bro, I'm not studying my dogs asshole area, saying "oh, there is the anal glands, I should squeeze them".
a.) I'm not looking
b.) I'm incapable of identifying anything in the area except the actual O-Ring itself.
His groomer is supposed to express it for you. You might have to drop some hammers, Dave.
Dave is a good dog dad.
he's gonna put the thing down if he cant afford the bill
I had coffee with my pops this morning, and this was discussed. I really hadn't thought about that before. I was also letting him grown his hair out a little longer this time.
I was supposed to have him groomed today actually, but obviously rescheduled.
I'm going to get him groomed more frequently to avoid this issue in the future.
Guys who love their small dogs and cats and TOOL are the best.
I did ask them when they gave me the estimate for this work "and whats the price to just put him down again?".
Thankfully for the dog, the surgery is more economically feasible for him.
