The cool thing about this is they are only going to get better. As soon as they get the D pairings straight Crawford won't have to bail them out all the time.
I don't think they need anything as far as trades go.
When are we going to go to a game?
congrats to the Hawks for being 1st quarter champions.
I get to at least 10 a year. We should get all the midwest members to one.
EA sports has them making it to the finals this year. http://investor.ea.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=611233 Before you laugh they have correctly predicted the last two years finals teams while even correctly predicting the Hawks in 2010 and the Bruins in 2011.
Suck on that Johnny Canuck.
Those Bears looked pretty good too defeating the Lions with authority yesterday.
how come the bruins are not on that list?
(not a boston fan)
To be green and save jpeg space I didn't show the list down to 23rd place where the Bruins comfortably sit.
Let me know, I always go to a few.
Can you scalp tickets pretty easy there? I've always had good luck getting Cubs tickets this way.
I think they are harder to come by then Cubs tickets. Not sure though.
Right now there is a little fever for Hawks tickets but you still can get them outside, might pay a little more because of it.
Why not just buy them online?
if EA really called the Hawks and Bruins' cup wins, good for them. can't even call it pure luck since both teams were carrying decades-long droughts before taking it all. hard to believe that these are the same pundits that think Ovechkin will win the Hart and Art Ross trophies this season.
to me, it really doesn't matter how well Chicago is playing right now, since the Leafs aren't in the same conference (I miss the Norris Division days). The Hawks can finish the season with 150 points for all I care, it won't have any bearing on where the Leafs finish in the East. EA seems to think that the Leafs will do well:
The Toronto Maple Leafs will squeak out an eighth place finish in the Eastern Conference, making the Playoffs for the first time in seven seasons
once any team gets into the playoffs, anything is possible. Edmonton made it to the finals 5 years ago as an 8 seed, and lost in Game 7. The Flyers were the 7 seed when they lost to your guys. several teams have dominated during the regular season, only to get knocked out in Round 1.
bottom line is, there's a lot of games left to play, and anything can happen.
P.S. big Dave Bolland fan here. local boy, a little soft, but a decent player nonetheless.
I miss the old Norris division when the Hawks and Leafs were battling head to head.
Still dopey Canadians don't know how to pluralize the word leaf.
You mother fuckin' cunt
oh and by the way your Leafs (It should be leaves )
EA can fuck off, too
