August I think. In Bethlehem. The whole town gets in on it. Saw this at sportsfest. Overall it's pretty annoying, but my shop sponsors some hockey teams.
a girl i work with parents went home to Jim Thrope P.A. and stopped by a WAWA in Allentown and brought me home 3 bags of coffee. hi Dev.
WaWa is awesome. It's all the Lehigh Valley. Bethlehem is really cool, though. Nicer than Allentown. I love it a lot.
Yea, it has several great downtown areas... lots to offer. Big art, music, and skate/bmx scene. Some really nice venues, good nightlife. Lots of mom n' pop stores. And it lacks the ghetto riff-raff that Allentown has accumulated. Well, it may not be totally absent... but it's nowhere near as widespread.
No. Yes. And Steve is great! He's completely gotten over his fear of getting in the car, he responds perfectly off the lead, and we've quickly become attached at the hip. Though it IS becoming apparent that, at some point he was mistreated by a man. His wariness of men has not subsided since settling in here. He still growls and barks at my roommate's boyfriend, who he sees almost every day. No snapping or snarling or tooth-showing, just growling and barking and sometimes signs of fear. I'm going to look up some local socialization classes soon. BUT other than that, he's great! ...and that's not even really a "problem". He's not aggressive; I don't worry about that. I just don't want him to continue to be stressed out and upset around men. It's bad for his emotions, and an inconvenience. @Shart Garfunkel
Have the boyfriend start giving treats to the dog in a calm manner. Approaching slowly with the treat visible in a palm up hand.
Dev, does he act that way with all men or is it specific to your rommate's boyfriend? Sometimes they just get a vibe off certain people. Scent or something.
