Nice one man.
Thanks! Caught 3, she's the biggest.
did you catch them along the bank by the tree on your right.....along that brush in da water...
also ...thats some thick ass line how many pound test
Now I'm hungry.....
Yes I did catch them by the tree. You are also right about the line, I wasn't fishing for walleye, I was targeting Steelhead. Think that is 12# or so line, for walleye I like 6 or 8# but they hammered the crankbaits so I was glad I had it.
i noticed there was no bill on da lure so i would say its not a deep diver...also
noticed how calm the water is right where your standing compared to in front of or to the right of the tree..
i would say it comes to a point right there...also if thats the case...i would imagine other fish come there to relax after fighting the current...lay eggs and prey.. or hide if hurt
prolly could go back later and something be there but early in the morning...that looks like a great spot...prolly your go to spot right when you first start...cause if they are there hiding in da brush..will be easy for them to hear ya...
prolly catch some big ones off that point
So...............You've done this before huh? One of my favorite spots, along with a 1000 other guys, I just got to it first.
ha ha ha ha ha ...early bird gets the walleye
