Should be a fun election season coming up with this idiot... Alec Baldwin targets Trump at theater gala By Mara Siegler March 1, 2016 | 9:32pm Who do you think would win in a battle between hot-headed actor Alec Baldwin and Donald Trump? We hear the “30 Rock” star took aim at the billionaire businessman and Republican front-runner during a speech at the Roundabout Theatre Gala at the Waldorf Astoria on Monday before guests including Audra McDonald, Phylicia Rashad, Liam Neeson and Dame Helen Mirren. “If Trump wins it all and decides he wants to buy the American Airlines Theatre, tear it down and build a casino there, you know who will be there to stop it: all of us here,” Baldwin told the crowd, referencing the venue that houses some of the company’s plays. Those attending reportedly booed Trump, but cheered at the mention of Hillary Clinton, whom Baldwin called one of the most “admired figures in the country.” Jane Krakowski performed an aerial act while singing, and auctioned off dinner with herself to two separate people. Laura Benanti also performed. The event raised $3.8 million.
