by JOEL GEHRKE March 27, 2015 6:41 PM Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton failed to provide any new documents to the congressional panel investigating the Benghazi terrorist attacks, instead notifying the committee that she has “wipe[d] her server clean,” the lead investigator announced.

“After seeking and receiving a two week extension from the Committee, Secretary Clinton failed to provide a single new document to the subpoena issued by the Committee and refused to provide her private server to the Inspector General for the State Department or any other independent arbiter for analysis,” Representative Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.), the chairman of the select committee investigating the attacks, announced Friday evening.

"We learned today, from her attorney, Secretary Clinton unilaterally decided to wipe her server clean and permanently delete all emails from her personal server,” he continued. “While it is not clear precisely when Secretary Clinton decided to permanently delete all emails from her server, it appears she made the decision after October 28, 2014, when the Department of State for the first time asked the Secretary to return her public record to the Department.”

Clinton left it ambiguous, during her press conference, when asked about the existence of the emails. “At the end, I chose not to keep my private personal emails,” she said, while also insisting that “the server will remain private.”

There was some chatter about the House demanding she hand over the server, though that might be fruitless in light of her revelation.

"Not only was the Secretary the sole arbiter of what was a public record, she also summarily decided to delete all emails from her server ensuring no one could check behind her analysis in the public interest,” Gowdy said. “In light of the Secretary’s unprecedented email arrangement with herself and her decision nearly two years after she left office to permanently delete all emails and because the equities at stake involve not only those of the Select Committee and Congress more broadly, but also those of the American people and their right to the full record of her tenure as secretary of State, we will work with the leadership of the House of Representatives as the Committee considers next steps. But it is clear Congress will need to speak with the former Secretary about her email arrangement and the decision to permanently delete those emails.”

Good, I'm glad she did. R's will keep 100 fake scandals going forever no matter what. They've wasted enough time and money trying to prove we intentionally let our people die in Benghazi. After they defunded embassy security. The real traitors are Republicans, they just wrote a fucking letter to Iran telling them not to trust the President. They're trying to gut the CFPB and Dodd-Frank so we can have another crash. They want to gut the safety net and increase defense spending. It's a joke.

I consider myself middle of the road politically but even I have to admit the Republicans are a fucking embarrassment. The party has been taken over by lunatics and there is no one to step in. There have been seven or eight Benghazi hearings already. It was a tragedy no different from the other countless attacks on outposts in dangerous regions. What would be a satisfactory outcome to move past this shit?

I get a smile out of people.

So the story is that Hillary defied orders and wiped the server clean, and many posters say they "hate" Republicans.

    Hilarious.

Life would be more simple if people policed their own "team."

The Clintons are, and have always been, crooked.

And we could be in for 8 years of this garbage if she gets elected. Hopefully "Clinton Fatigue Syndrome" will kick in before the 2016 elections and people will see her for the snake she really is.

More reason for Americans to revolt and hang politicians in town squares across this country.

No one from the US government went to Benghazi for TWO FULL WEEKS after the attack, but some people think that's no big deal.

Look, we were causing problems for the area out of our Benghazi branch and that's why there were so many CIA guys around. The attack was not random in any way, and the coverup was to protect the Administration's strategy for overthrowing the (former) leaders in the area.

Of course the Obama Administration has put terrorists into business all over the Middle East. Thanks, Obama.

You really think the CFPB and Dodd-Frank will keep another crash from happening? Those two creations out of the last economic downturn have done nothing to help recovery or help consumers. In fact, they have only cost the consumers more money being stifled from them in fees and hidden charges. The fact that both have the act and the bureau have had changes made after they were carelessly put into effect shows how rash and ineffective they are. They will continue to have to be adjusted, reworked or hopefully repealed and disbanded.

She deleted (and wiped) her email server after she was directed by the Department of State to provide all records related to her activities as Secretary, as all former employees are required to do, and must sign a document certifying that all records, in their possession or control, have been provided to the Department.

Anyone can claim that the email and server issue is nothing more than politics as usual - however, I don't think anyone could accuse the DOS of being controlled by the Republicans.

She knew exactly what she was doing, and why.

"We learned today, from her attorney, Secretary Clinton unilaterally decided to wipe her server clean and permanently delete all emails from her personal server,” he continued. "While it is not clear precisely when Secretary Clinton decided to permanently delete all emails from her server, it appears she made the decision after October 28, 2014, when the Department of State for the first time asked the Secretary to return her public record to the Department.”

"Not only was the Secretary the sole arbiter of what was a public record, she also summarily decided to delete all emails from her server ensuring no one could check behind her analysis in the public interest,”

Nothing says "NOTHING TO SEE HERE" more than erasing your entire server after it was requester to be turned in.

Has even one person be convicted of ANYTHING during the six years of Obama?

Has one person been fired? Has there been any consequence at all to bad action?
