So the paint on my HeeHaw truck is not so great. From 15 or so feet away it looks OK but much closer and you start to see imperfections and the occasional run. They went heavy with the "chip guard" style paint along the rockers, wheel wells and tailgate so I imagine there may be a hidden issue or two to deal with. Rust is minimal but I'd like to nip it before it can really dig in so touch up will be necessary. Rather than trying to match the existing color I am thinking about going full tilt asshole and doing something much like this.... The whole project comes in at around $100. The worst parts will be the prep and tedious masking. It's easy to touch up if necessary and masks dirt well. I'll blackout the trim/wheels as well to further increase the badassness of the old F100. I'm debating about including the spitfire mouth......leaning, at this point, towards "no". Hoping to do this within the next several weeks but I'm having some issues sealing up some pretty severe leaks so that is the priority for the moment. Keep in mind that this is just our farm truck and my shenanigans "fun" vehicle.
