What I recall about "Naked Blood" (Japanese extreme horror film) is that a doctor gives some girls a variety of drugs to help them with their low self-esteem (about their appearance). The drugs make the girls do insane things. One removes her eyeball with a fork and consumes it, or something like that.
The Japanese are infamous for blasting years of behavioral repression out of their systems via horror films. Their stuff is as sick as it gets-- the GUINEA PIG series, RED ROOM, ICHI THE KILLER, AUDITION, et al. A SERBIAN FILM and Marian Dora's fiercely disgusting canon (MELANCHOLIE DER ENGEL, CANNIBAL) probably surpass it in terms of stomach-churning disturbia, but not by much.
Any of these on netflix?
"Audition" (which is by far the tamest of all the ones I mentioned) occasionally pops up on Netflix streaming. Ichi the Killer is definitely available on DVD via Netflix.
"A Serbian Film", "Melancholie der Engel", "Cannibal" can all be found on YouTube, in varying degrees of quality.
"Naked Blood", "Red Room", the "Guinea Pig" films... best bet probably YouTube on those, as well.
In a random bit of trivia, Charlie Sheen thought one of the "Guinea Pig" films was a snuff movie and turned it over to police. It ended up going to the federal authorities who started to agree with him. The makers of the film quickly made a sequel which was a documentary about how they performed the special effects in the previous one.
ichi the killer is badass. check out the uncut version though.
Ya don't see that every day
