Wow, who knew that a miniseries about hillbillies killing each other would be such a hit. Well, stripes did....

    Is it any good?

Even tho he personally has become a laughing-stock
Stern hasn't been able to kill off the juice of a 1st run network
show when it goes up against re-runs ..doh

It's the Hatfield's & McCoy's... classic Americana... I watched two episodes and decent Hollywoodization of history

Yes. I watched all three. I will be surprised if it doesn't pick up a couple of Emmys.

Howard has sadly eroded...it's like this...if you can't see it...it's because you're blind.

check out this totally legit comment:

The show has been great this season, and Howard Stern gets better each week as a judge (and as a broadly accessible TV personality). I’m not even a Stern fan, but I think he’s hilarious on this show.
NBC should really lock this guy up now for a second season.

Who the hell is "Joal Ryan".....Liz Brown's cousin? And how is 11 million viewers "more in line" with previous premieres? I thought AGT has had over 15 million viewers in the past. 4 million less doesn't seem "in line" to me.

The Beefus has friends willing to write in. Some of them probably work at DBA.

...looks like bachwald has some lemmings posting in comment sections for him. look at it this way, the saloon is generating much needed jobs in the high tech industry if howard has to hire a some internet writers to combat the fallout from the sellout. fuck you gay howard. hi fred!

I think it's funny how "Hatfields and McCoys" came out of left field to steal some of Howard's thunder. I wonder if he knew anything about it beforehand (remember he faked not knowing about AGT's premiere competition).

If I were Howchie I wouldn't get too excited about 10 or 11 million viewers, I just read Jeopardy averages 9 million viewers a day. AGT ain't as "influential" as Howard seems to think!

Id be interested to see comprehensive ratings that adequately compare network and cable ratings. Hatfields can't be the only thing beating Agt.

...in a way it shows that people are willing to watch anything else. how many agt viewers in that number dont have cable? thats almost a captive audience. the advertising for hatfield wasnt -even-close, to the money spent to make sure everyone knew howard stern was coming to agt. the problem with that is nobody cared.

That's right....I mean if AGT somehow hits 16 or 17 million viewers in the upcoming weeks, then you have to tip your hat to NBC and Howard, but for the spinsters to not address the expectation that ratings should have spiked considerably with all of the marketing and promotion that went into Howard's arrival is just dishonest.
