greatest sports movie ever?
Doesn't hold a candle to Slapshot
I agree with Hoosiers. What a great movie.
I'm not playing until Jimmy plays
The Hanson brothers!
Good movie, but hardly follows the truth of the true story.
That Hoosiers theme song gets stuck in my head for days after I see even a clip of that movie.
My list would be:
White Men Can't Jump
Field of Dreams
League of Their Own
The coach had been there a few years and was a young guy
they had more than 7 players
BTW. Blaek Annie is the best musical ever too.
the championship game was as boring as shit. low scoring
They stood there holding the ball for 3 minutes and took the last shot.
I think Bull Durham belongs on there too...
Field of Dreams on the short list.
Did they at least run the Picket Fence for cripes sakes?
I play, coach stays. He goes, I go.
the final shot was pretty accurate
